​I offer a variety of services to help you out in many areas of musical development.
I help a mixed bag of students that want to improve in their given area - singers, producers, songwriters. Mostly, I help singers. Ranging from all different varieties, old and young, novice and professional, online and in-person.
Some come to achieve preparing performances to sing at their weddings, some with goals of becoming professional singer/songwriters, some wanting to get down the foundations and some just love to sing and want to develop their confidence and skill - if this sounds like you, then I can definitely help you!
I have many years of experience with music. Whilst I'm not coaching others, I work professionally singing, songwriting and producing for others in the music industry.
The fun thing about working with me is you can go on to develop to your hearts content. Some singers I work with go on to be songwriters and producers. Or, perhaps you discover your interests are in producing as well as singing, we can always go on to develop your skills there as well. I also help out people that are exclusively producers/composers and have no singing skills. The service I offer can be quite diverse and unique. Sessions are always tailored specifically to you!
ABOUT YOUR COACH
I have been singing ever since I was a child, in a choir, performing in many venues around Bristol like the Hippodrome, Colston Hall, Bristol Cathedral, etc. I picked up piano and guitar at a young age, and developed my guitar skills to a high degree and played in and started a few bands. Continuing to nurture musical skill throughout my life, in my early 20's I co-founded my own pop/rock band that I developed to a high-industry standard.
I've trained my voice over many years - with the help of a world-renowned vocal coach - to develop it to highly professional level. I've always been passionate about writing and creativity, and I really cut my teeth on songwriting and producing in my early 20's. Now I sing, write and produce music professionally while I'm not helping others develop their own skills.
Matt has been a great help. Explaining what I needed to know to understand the technicalities of vocals and very quickly working out my range and where I needed improvement on bridging / transitioning between vocal methods. We are currently moving through exercises to strengthen these areas / muscles. Most of all, I am enjoying it!
